I was referred to Mark Weinstock by a dear friend who told me that he would take care of me and that I would adore him and she was absolutely right! I was buying and selling at the same time and had another agent handling my sale (for political reasons in my former co-op) and I regretted making that choice because it was quickly evident that Mark was the more present, knowledgeable, kind and caring representative. We worked together for 10 months from start to finish and I always felt like I was his ultimate priority. His communication was always prompt, which was appreciated not only by me but by my seller''s agent as well. Purchasing a co-op is a very labor intensive process and he made each step very easy and took great pride in personally creating the most complete and comprehensive board application package for me. Throughout the process he referred every listing in my desired neighborhood (UWS) and price range, provided solid guidance, gave excellent advice and made a potentially stressful experience, pleasant and actually enjoyable! Last summer my boyfriend and I decided to invest in buying a home and were looking for an experienced, responsive agent to guide us through the process. Mark helped us settle on a property I was initially resistant toward as the 1.5 bathrooms needed some updating. However, he repeatedly pointed out the "bones" and the incredible views, space, and value. I soon realized he was right, and I am so happy that I trusted Mark''s instincts as I could not be happier with this home. We are also glad we purchased when we did as I''m sure someone else would have taken it in an instant. Mark originally helped us find a rental. He navigated the co-op''s strange and intrusive requests so meticulously that we were accepted very quickly. That experience encouraged us to contact him when it came time to search for an apartment to buy. At every step of our journey, we encountered the stereotypical real estate industry people that fed off a transaction and moved on before it was finished. We have had the pleasure of working with Mark Weinstock twice. 2 years ago we found out we were pregnant and needed a bigger place and were fortunate enough to find Mark. He was so helpful and considerate of our needs as new parents and had a keen sense of the market. He found an apt he thought we would love, and he was right! When it came time to sell our original apt we immediately contacted Mark. The real estate market had changed drastically but Mark was a beacon of positivity. From pricing, marketing, and vetting buyers, Mark was a diligent agent and worked tirelessly to sell our apt. Forget about a whole page of space, I think I will need an entire website to write my testimonial for Mark Weinstock! Our journey together as agent and client came to an end about a week ago when my husband and I moved into our dream apartment in our dream building. However, the friendship, caring and bond we developed will last a lifetime. Mark has spent the last year with us, in relentless effort to both sell our apartment as well as find us a newer and larger space. He had our apartment sold in 12 weeks which was amazing considering this market. We were VERY specific in what we wanted in our new apartment as well as what our budget allowed for, and although we hit some very frustrating bumps in the road along the way, Mark never wavered, meeting all of our criteria and doing so with a big smile, a sweet attitude and never faltering professionalism. No task was ever too big or too small, from emailing us listings at 4:00am (when most agents are sleeping) to changing my mood to a positive one when I was ready to give up.
